New England Highlands
Welcome To Lochlorian
Lochlorian is situated in the picturesque Southern New England Highlands. Perfect for the fly and lure fishing enthusiast or an idyllic family getaway.
It is approximately 1,300m above sea level, providing the ideal cool climate for trout. Summers at Lochlorian offer pleasant relief from the high temperatures of the lower country, while winters may offer the delights of crisp white snowfalls
The dam was constructed in the early 70′s and in the past has been used for water skiing, irrigation and stock water.
More recently, the dam has been used solely for trout fishing and regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout since 1985.
